When you shop in the EU - online, over the phone, or through a catalogue - you have certain consumer rights.
Find out about what information online sellers must give, what rights consumers have when they want to return or get a refund, and what to do when something goes wrong.

1. The online seller must give the customer the company's email address when the order is placed.
2. The taxes must be included in the price.
3. The seller must give the information on how long the price is valid.
4. Delivery costs might change after placing the order.
5. The day the customer pays the purchase is the first day of the "cooling off" period.
6. The seller always pays the shipping.
7. The customer doesn't have the right to cancel accommodation booking.
8. The customer is entitled to a lower price always when the product is faulty.
9. The seller must deliver the purchase within 30 days from receiving the order.
10. The seller can redirect the customer to a national online shop.
